High School
Rugby League
will host
the High
School
All-Star
Clinic on
May 17th
at
Owens Field
(Columbia
Olde Grey
Pitch). This
will be open
to all
players and
we encourage
each team to
recommend
their top
athletes as
well as all
Graduating
Seniors who
plan to
continue
playing to
attend.
The original
plan was to
play an East
vs. West
All-Star
game, though
with Gilbert
going to
Nationals we
will now
divide into
two teams
and have a
practice
followed by
a scrimmage
match. Teams
will play
two 20
minute
halves and
then divide
into an
All-Star
team and a
Seniors
team. There
will be a
short
practice and
then the
All-Stars
vs. Seniors
game will
begin.

I would like
to invite
all the
coaches who
are not
attending
the clinic
in
Charleston,
SC to come
be advisors
and to help
select
teams. We
would also
like to
invite all
the College
and Men's
Club coaches
to attend
the games
and Social
in order to
meet and
greet the
future of
their
programs. As
we have seen
with trips
to Wake
Forest and
MTSU, it is
encouraging
to these
young men to
see Mens &
collegiate
teams
interested
in them.
We hope to
see all of
our young
men take to
the pitch in
an exciting
afternoon of
rugby!
